Neil writes in his journal that he is no longer an author. He goes on to state that he is now a “New York Times” bestselling author! “American Gods” is number 10 at the moment, and I’m sure it’ll go higher! I’ve been a fan of his work ever since Sandman #1 (I still have most of the first year and a half of the comics’ run). He is truly a master of the short story, and his collaberation with Terry Pratchett (of “Discworld” fame) on “Good Omens” borders on literary perfection (at least as far as my tastes go)
